RENCONTRE AVEC RANDY

“My goal is for students to feel both challenged and uplifted, leaving the room stronger not only physically but mentally.”

Tes formations yoga et hors yoga ?

My first training was in the Bikram / 26+2 Hot Yoga method 15 years ago, and later I also trained in Vinyasa, Yin (Restorative), Pilates and I also teach Inferno Hot Pilates. Over the years I’ve continued deepening my knowledge through studies in alignment, breath awareness, and the mental aspects of practice. I’m particularly passionate about how disciplined movement and heat can help people discover resilience, focus, and self-trust.

Quel(s) style(s) de yoga enseignes-tu ?

Hot Yoga (Bikram / 26+2), Vinyasa, Hatha, Pilates, Inferno Hot Pilates, and also slower practices such as Yin or mobility-focused sessions during retreats and workshops.

Comment définirais-tu ton approche du yoga ?

For me, yoga is an invitation to meet yourself honestly. My intention when I teach is to create a space where students can challenge themselves while feeling supported and safe. Through breath, structure, and awareness, I encourage people to explore their limits, develop discipline, and reconnect with their inner strength; both on and off the mat.

Qu’est-ce qui rend ton enseignement unique ?

I love the contrast between discipline and lightness. The practice I teach is precise and structured, but I balance that intensity with warmth, energy, and humanity. My goal is for students to feel both challenged and uplifted, leaving the room stronger not only physically but mentally.

A retreat with me is both energizing and grounding. The days usually begin with a dynamic practice to awaken the body and mind, and end with a slower session to integrate and restore. Between practices there is time for nature, connection, good food, laughter, self-introspection activities, and meaningful conversations. I always aim to create an atmosphere where people feel comfortable being themselves while sharing a transformative experience together.

Probably working in something related to human development or movement, helping people understand themselves and grow.

“Stay curious, stay humble, keep breathing”

Ta posture favortie :

Standing Bow Pulling Pose (Dancer Pose) because it is strong, grounded, and expansive at the same time.

Ta posture redoutée :

Standing Head to Knee Pose, a constant reminder that patience and focus are everything.

Ton signe astrologique :

Virgo

I’m Dominican-Spanish, and living and traveling across different countries has deeply shaped the way I see the world. Meeting people from diverse cultures has taught me that yoga is a universal language that connects us beyond differences.

I’m inspired by teachers who embody both discipline and compassion, those who remind us that the real practice of yoga is not about perfection but about honesty and presence.

Tes passions hors yoga :

Traveling, discovering new cultures, long conversations with friends, and spending time in nature… oh, and dancing! :)

I have a passion for desserts, not super sweet tho ;)

  •  Book : “The Power of Now” – Eckhart Tolle

  • Film : “La vita e bella” by Roberto Benigni — a powerful reminder that love, humor, and imagination can preserve hope even in difficult moments.

I love the idea of bringing people together in beautiful places to share meaningful experiences. A retreat is a special moment where practice, nature, and community come together; and that kind of environment can be truly transformative.

That they felt stronger, lighter, and more connected to themselves, and that they discovered a strength inside out they didn’t know they had.

I teach regular classes and workshops in Brussels, Belgium at Yoga Room and lead immersive trainings and retreats focused on the practices I enthusiastically teach.

Un mot pour la fin ?

A retreat is more than a holiday; it’s a chance to pause, reconnect, and come back to what really matters. I’m looking forward to sharing that experience together.
