RENCONTRE AVEC LAUREN MAHAN VALLS
“Immersive experiences like yoga retreats offer a much-needed disconnect from “life” to reconnect on what’s essential.
Sharing the experience with a group reminds us of our interconnection”
YOGA AND NON-YOGA TRAINING:
My practice has ebbed and flowed throughout my life. Sometimes strong, fiery & constant, other times soft, mild & in the background, but always present and the compass guiding me forward to go with the flow of life. I started yoga from an early age and am certified in the following practices:
Awakening Vinyasa 200H RYT with Patrick Beach & Carling Harps
Yin Yoga 50H with Philippe Beer Gabel & Anne-Gaelle Guillot
Yoga Nidra 50H with Philiipe Beer Gabel & Uma Dinsmore-Tul
Psychology & Holistic Health degree from San Francisco State University
Certified ESL (English as a second language) teacher
And certainly, the school of life! Traveling, discovering new cultures and living in France for the past 8 years has been the most enriching experience.
TON TYPE D’ENSEIGNEMENT DE YOGA / LA PARTICULARITÉ DE TON ENSEIGNEMENT DU YOGA:
I teach a vinyasa class that is accessible with a steady pace to stay present to the breath (the life force) always with a smile :)
My yin & yoga Nidra classes offer a pause to connect to the present moment, your intuition and free yourself from the noise of everyday life. You’re invited to let go of stored tensions deep in your tissues and offer yourself some TLC (tender love & care).
I tend to impart a sense of lightness and ‘being at home’ to my students- they’re welcome to come as they are, feel comfortable in their skin and stay curious to all that shows up in their practice.

I was drawn to Lea’s warmth, drive and passion for this project! Immersive experiences like yoga retreats offer a much-needed disconnect from “life” to reconnect on what’s essential. Sharing the experience with a group reminds us of our interconnection. I’m delighted to embark on new adventures, to slow down, explore new corners of the world and support yogis in their path of self-discovery.
